Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress and outcomes.
  • Develop data collection tools and methodologies to ensure accurate and comprehensive data gathering.
  • Lead household survey and ensure data accuracy and timely completion of the task
  • Track indicators and analyze project performance data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to enhance project effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with donor requirements.
  • Collaborate with district teams to ensure consistent data flow and timely reporting.
  • Support the development and implementation of learning and accountability systems for the project.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, preferably in education-focused projects.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the education sector and experience working in district-level settings is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within the project districts as required.
  • Commitment to safeguarding principles and promoting safe and inclusive practices.
