Administrative & Finance Officer (AFO) (Applications have closed)

Location: Bahawalnagar and Khanewal ( 1 in each district)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping, including expense tracking, reconciliations, and budget monitoring.
  • Oversee budget preparation and assist in forecasting financial needs for project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with donor financial guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports on time, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting standards.
  • Handle disbursements and payments in a timely manner while maintaining transparency.
  • Support procurement processes and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
  • Supervise and manage day-to-day office administration tasks, including logistics and facility management.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of inventory and assets used in project activities.
  • Coordinate with project teams to support efficient resource allocation and utilization.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to safeguarding protocols in all financial and administrative operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, ACCA or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance and administration roles, preferably within development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management tools, processes, and budgeting techniques.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent understanding of donor financial compliance requirements and audit processes.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Commitment to ethical financial practices, transparency, and safeguarding principles.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel between districts as needed.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
