According to the Economic Survey of Pakistan 2015–2016, nearly 39 percent of Pakistanis live in multidimensional poverty. One important way to come out of poverty is through economic development. Investing in poor and marginalized people’s economic development sets a path for poverty reduction.
Pakistan is a country prone to disasters both man-made and natural. Disaster can hit anyone at any time. Pakistan has been facing various disasters and given the poverty profile of the country, whereby people are already struggling to survive, the hardships increase when a disaster strikes. Women, children and old people are among the worst affected population.
Mojaz Foundation journey began with a vision—a society where every individual enjoys dignity, security, and a high quality of life. Over the years, we have become a beacon of hope for communities in remote and marginalized districts of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and Punjab in Pakistan.
