Capacity Building Officer

Location: Bahawalnagar and Khanewal
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, design, and implement comprehensive training sessions for various stakeholders, including community members, teachers, mentors and students to strengthen their capacity in key areas such as inclusive education, alternative learning methodologies, and safeguarding practices.
- Develop and adapt capacity-building materials and resources that align with the project’s objectives, ensuring they are accessible and culturally relevant for the target audience.
- Facilitate capacity-building workshops and training sessions, with a focus on participatory and interactive approaches to promote active learning.
- Work closely with the Program Manager, District Coordinators, and other key stakeholders to identify training needs and prioritize capacity-building activities.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training sessions and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of the project’s learning and development strategy, ensuring it aligns with the overall goals of the GOAL project.
- Ensure that all training activities are conducted in line with the project’s safeguarding standards, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training and capacity building, preferably in the education sector.
- Experience in designing and delivering training programs for diverse audiences, including marginalized groups and community-based organizations.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies, including interactive and participatory training techniques.
- Familiarity with the development and use of digital learning tools and platforms.
- Experience working in South Punjab or similar rural, marginalized settings is an advantage.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with various stakeholders.
